Our Code
Code of Conduct
We compete with class. We win with humility and lose with grace. We keep our grades up. We show up on time. We take care of each other. We leave the mat better than we found it.
ATHLETES
Arrive on time and ready. Respect coaches, teammates, opponents and officials. No bullying, hazing, fighting outside of live drills, or foul language. Keep grades up. Take care of the mats, facility and gear. Keep social media posts positive and representative of the team. Wrestle with class: shake hands, win humbly, lose gracefully. Weight cutting only as directed by coaches and parents, never unsafe.
PARENTS AND GUESTS
Be supportive and positive. Coaches coach; parents cheer. No coaching from the stands, no arguing with coaches or officials. Pick up on time. Keep sidelines and facility clean. Communicate concerns privately and respectfully with Jesse.
COACHES AND STAFF
Put athlete safety first. Model respect and faith-centered leadership. Never be alone one-on-one with a minor in a closed or unobserved space. Report injuries and incidents to Jesse the same day.
SAFETY
Report injuries immediately. Sick or contagious athletes stay home. Skin checks per tournament rules.
CONSEQUENCES
Warning, parent conversation, suspension, removal — at Jesse’s discretion for serious or repeated violations.
